Manfred’s compositions combine a romantic concept with harmonies and rhythms of the contemporary jazz.As a pianist he has a penchant for intimate moods, tells stories, describes situations, emotions.His piano playing is both simple, sophisticated or even complex, which is not a contradiction, because in his expressive playing he uses the entire width of percussive dynamics of the instrument. This composition describes the incomparable beauty of the island of Mallorca, where the composer resides since years. Thanks to the ability to transform into music his experiences, the author has created a set of themes inspired by the island full of mediterranean feeling, sea, earth and wind. The themes are designed to be interpreted by his jazz trio and are an explosion of images, feelings and strength, which are

like the artist himself and the island he honors.
