WOODWINDS OF VALLDEMOSSA includes  a tour of the most representative songs of Tomeu Estaràs repertoire, from Bach to Astor Piazzola.

Tomeu Estaràs began his studies with Mn. Joan Maria Thomàs. Then, under his father’s guidance , he began playing in the “Parado de Valldemossa” (folkgroup founded by Tomeu’s father in the 1920’s), from this folkgroup later emerged the musical group “Els Valldemossa”; of which he was member and co-founder. From then on he has not stopped performing around the world (New York, London, Rome, Paris, Los Angeles....). We can highlight, in his classical achievements, concerts in 1966, with the “Orquesta Sinfónica de Mallorca’ under the baton of Gerardo Pérez Busquier, performing pieces by Couperin and Klein. Later, he was invited to perform works by Bach in the concerts of the “Torrent de Pareis” and recently he has performed, on several occasions in the “Teatre Principal” with the “Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears” conducted by Philippe Bender. Since the death of his father, Tomeu is the director of the “Parado de Valldemossa”. With “Els Valldemossa” he continues performances on international cruise-ships that take him all over the world and with said group, has numerous recordings published under Philips, Belter and Ona Digital.
